Android App Development
From your first line of Java to a real app on Google Play.
This is a full Android app development course built from Corinne Hoisington's well-known textbook, Android Boot Camp for Developers Using Java. It runs over two semesters of twelve weekly classes each -- one class every Saturday, a single two-to-three hour session -- and takes you from installing Android Studio to publishing a real app on Google Play. Each Saturday you watch that week's video together, a moderator answers your questions as you go, and you build real apps with Claude Code at your side to check every step.
Two semesters, 24 classes in all, one class a week -- a single two-to-three hour Saturday session. The syllabus is open to everyone; each class's lesson opens for subscribers. It is included in the one $13.99/month subscription.
Semester 1Java and Your First Android Apps
You install Android Studio, learn the Java you need, and build your first Android screens and apps. By the end you have a working app running on an emulated Android phone.
